FAQ
Will this fit my machine?
This ditching bucket is custom-fitted at the time of order. Select your mount option (Pin-On, Wedge Coupler, or Other) and provide your make and model at checkout, or send us a photo of your stick and pins for confirmation.
What's a ditching bucket used for?
Ditching buckets are wide, low-profile buckets built for clearing and shaping drainage channels, ditches, and culverts. The smooth straight cutting edge lets you make clean shave passes for finish work on slopes, ditch banks, and trench backfill. Common uses: roadside ditch maintenance, culvert cleanout, drainage channel grading, slope finishing, and large-area cleanup.
What's the difference between a ditching bucket and a grading bucket?
Both have wide, smooth-edged profiles for finish work, but the ditching bucket is wider and shallower — built for shaping ditches and moving high volumes of loose material across a long pass. Grading buckets are slightly deeper and better suited to precise grade work and material retention.
Is this a tilt bucket?
No — this is a fixed-mount ditching bucket. Tilt ditching buckets are a separate product. Contact us at 416-220-8550 if you need a tilt unit.
How does the warranty work?
One year from delivery. If you have a manufacturing defect, send us photos and we'll arrange repair, replacement, or refund.
Do you offer rush fabrication?
Sometimes — call 416-220-8550 to discuss your timeline.
What's the difference between trenching, grading, ditching, skeleton, rake, and ripper?
Trenching buckets are narrow with high break-out force for clean wall finish in utility and footing work. Grading buckets are wide with a straight cutting edge for finish work, backfilling, and site cleanup. Ditching buckets are wider and shallower for ditch shaping, drainage channels, and culvert maintenance. Skeleton buckets sift material on the fly — ideal for rock and root separation. Rakes gather rocks, roots, and debris into piles. Rippers are single-shank tools for breaking hard ground and ripping roots — where a bucket can't dig.
